【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheuseofdynamicmechanicalinstrumentationforgatheringandreportingtheviscoelasticpropertiesofthermoplasticandthermosettingresinsandcompositesystemsintheformofcylindricalspecimensmoldeddirectlyorcutfromsheets,plates,ormoldedshapes.Thecompressiondatageneratedmaybeusedtoidentifythethermomechanicalpropertiesofaplasticsmaterialorcompositionusingavarietyofdynamicmechanicalinstruments.Thistestmethodisintendedtoprovidemeansfordeterminingthemodulusasafunctionoftemperatureofawidevarietyofplasticsmaterialsusingnonresonantforced-vibrationtechniques,asoutlinedinPracticeD4065.Plotsoftheelastic(storage),loss(viscous)andcomplexmoduliandtandeltaasafunctionoffrequency,time,ortemperatureareindicativeofsignificanttransitionsinthethermomechanicalperformanceofthepolymericmaterialsystem.Thistestmethodisvalidforawiderangeoffrequencies,typicallyfrom0.01to100Hz.Apparentdiscrepanciesmayariseinresultsobtainedunderdifferingexperimentalconditions.Theseapparentdifferencesfromresultsobservedinanotherstudycanusuallybereconciled,withoutchangingtheobserveddata,byreportinginfull(asdescribedinthistestmethod)theconditionsunderwhichthedatawereobtained.Duetopossibleinstrumentationcompliance,thedatageneratedareintendedtoindicaterelativeandnotnecessarilyabsolutepropertyvalues.Testdataobtainedbythistestmethodisrelevantandappropriateforuseinengineeringdesign.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
